 • Peles and Pelisor Castle. Peles Castle blends architectural innovations with gothic refinement for a one of a kind landmark in Europe. Although it’s smaller, royal elegance and beauty makes Pelisor stand out just as much. You can visit these two stunning castles from Tuesday to Sunday. Discover the Weapon Room, the secret door in the Library and Queen Mary’s extended Tiffany collection. All just a short walk from RINA Sinaia Hotel.

 • Sinaia Monastery. At the end of the 1600s, Mihail Cantacuzino went on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land and Sinai Mountain. Upon his return, he placed the founding stone of Sinaia Monastery – which is now an oasis of peace and spirituality for any wandering pilgrim. The beautiful Sinaia Monastery is close to the train station, as well as to Peles and Pelisor Castles.

 • The Sinaia Casino from "Dimitrie Ghica" Park. Enjoy the feel of the aristocratic life as you walk through the exquisite "Dimitrie Ghica" Park (just two minutes away from RINA Sinaia Hotel). The impressive Sinaia Casino building was unveiled with a huge feast in 1913. The royal family attended the ceremony and the brilliant composer George Enescu held an exceptional concert.

 • George Enescu Memorial House from Cumpatu Street. The world-famous George Enescu found a safe haven and inspiration at Luminis Villa in Sinaia. Come and see his piano on which he created some of his most famous works.

 • Franz Josef Rock Poiana Stanii. Follow in the footsteps of the royal family all the way up to 1300 m. From there, at the end of a winding path, you’ll find Franz Josef Rock looking down upon the fabulous Prahova Valley. And right around the corner, there’s Poiana Stanii, a good place for a nice family picnic.

 • Bolboci Lake. An artificial lake, created by damming Ialomita’s waters at 1460 m. The mountain view is simply breathtaking, and trout fishing is sure to help you relax in a special way. The lake is only 8 km away from Sinaia.

 • Omu Peak. If you have what it takes, trek up to 2505 m. There, you’ll find Omu Peak Weather Forecast Station, the highest all-year-round populated place in the country. The way there is nice and steady and filled with natural wonders, such as endangered Edelweiss flowers, wild chamois and soothing waterfalls.

 • Heigh-end skiing. Carp track is one of the most popular tracks for addicted skiers from all over the world. But in Sinaia there’s a slope for everyone. Valea Dorului is a great choices for beginners. A 1-day pass for the ski lift is 143 RON, and the cable car is only 5 minutes away from RINA Sinaia Hotel.
